ExtraGene is multi-protocols. If you want to use commercial kits, you can. But if you prefer to use generic reagents you can too.
ExtraGene process up to 48 samples in 20 ml tubes. The
running time depends on the protocol.
ExtraGene is really user-friendly to program and to operate,
thanks to its software and its graphical user interface
Main features :
Up to two improved centrifuges, with a mechanized hatch on the top
The robotic arm moves a special tool
for tube’s cap opening/closing, tube handling, nozzles for
syringe pumps and precision peristaltic pumps
On the front side, a drawer supports tubes racks, tips racks and
liquid and solid waste collector
ExtraGene is contained in a fume-hod (optional)
Generic reagents = Much more extractions with your budget
Full automation = Much more extractions with your work force
Separation by centrifugation = Higher yeld and lower cost (less than 1.5€ per extraction)
